What kind of service can I expect from Conway Photography?

We put tremendous effort into the planning & delivery of our sessions. We thoughtfully strive to provide "shoots" that are creative, comfortable, enjoyable and inspiring for our clients.  People consistently tell us how much they enjoy and appreciate our warmth and our enthusiasm.

By working with us, you receive the highest levels of personalized attention from both members of our team. Jeanne provides a female perspective with positive energy and support throughout our planning process and the session itself. Her gift is the ability to provide you with an attentive host who knows how to treat you with the care and consideration you deserve. Jeanne also manages our business and web accounts. Grant has over 30 years of photography experience. His role, of course, is creating the outcome you ultimately desire: fantastic photos! He is the primary photographer, and the creative force behind our team.

What photography styles/genres do you work with?

Conway Photography specializes in human portraits… In recent years, our work has focused on family, maternity, glamour, fashion, and senior portraits. Generally speaking, we do not shoot events such as weddings. However, we do enjoy bridal photography (pre-wedding, bride & groom) and wedding announcements portraits, etc. Our portfolio is very diverse so feel free to ask about our full range of artistic portraits.

Do you have experience with model portfolio development?

Yes! We enjoy helping models build a dynamic, commercial and potentially profitable portfolio. We’ve worked with dozens of models from Oregon to Hawaii... let’s get creative!

Where do you shoot the photographs?

In the studio and “outside” primarily in the Eugene area… We work with clients to determine the location(s). Our published session prices (listed below) include your choice of shots taken outside or in the studio or both! Typically, we recommend a combination of both to receive the most value. We enjoy travel and never hesitate to shoot in new locations including the Oregon coast.

What are the typical steps in the process to work together?

In most cases, we have a short pre-session meeting to listen to our clients and to share ideas. We encourage you to look at numerous online samples in order to help us plan a session that is the best "fit” for your needs. Next, we shoot the photographs. We like to take our time so our standard sessions typically take about three hours... sometimes longer. After the session, we select more than 50  images for you to view. After receiving your feedback, we work to touch up selected images in preparation for delivery of your finished disc. 

Are you a “full-time” photography team?

No. In addition to our photography business, we love and work hard at our “other jobs” too (not to mention our children: a full time job by itself). Thus, we typically schedule one session per week and put our entire photography focus (mind, heart, and soul) into making that session special for everyone involved.
